Idiom of the Week – Week 2

Each week of 2017 we present an English idiom.

“it’s six of one, half-dozen of another”:  it’s the same either way you look at it or count it / both options are equal

Example 1:  We could buy our new fleet of company cars from carmaker A or from carmaker B. It’s six of one, half-dozen of another.

Example 2:  We could launch the new perfume before Valentine’s Day or before Mother’s Day. With regard to our projected sales, it will be six of one, half-dozen of another.
